comfortable and welcoiming after a long journey. No nonsence accommodation at an affordable rate.
I travelled to Swansea from Dublin via Bristol Airport with my friend and my 3 month old baby to attend a family occasion. I hired a car at Bristol Airport, drove from there through The Severn Bridge and Cardiff. It took us nearly 2 hours. I wasn't sure how this journey was going to end up as I was travelling with a baby but the great decision I made was to stay at this hotel- this hotel is very close to everything, convenient to where we were going (Morriston) and it was easy to get back to Bristol Airport. The only problem we had was, as the hotel was located at the roundabout exit and if you make a mistake on the roundabout, you could end up driving for 20 minutes before you can make a U turn. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Swansea!
Although th hotel is adjacent to the M4 motorway, I found the hotel very quiet and relaxing. The pub next door is ideal for an evening meal and a drink, although the hotel itself does have a bar I did not use this facility this time. The hotel staff were very polite and professional. The buffet breakfast was OK but they could do with adding some bacon along with the sausage and scrambled egg. Overall the hotel was excellent and I shall choose to stay there agian on my next visit in a few weeks time.
The room was a good size, great shower and a good breakfast where you could eat as much or as little as you wanted all included in the price. Choice of pillows available as well either soft or firm.
I prefer a softer mattress but sadly the bed was a bit too firm for me.
The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful and very courteous
Proximity to the M4, facilities at the hotel and the Harvester Restaurant next door for good value food
thought the breakfast was very limeted
Really nice room with all the things we needed (cups, hair dryer, kettle etc.) Clean bathroom; good design; comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. Safety windows, so I could take a shower and leave my child in a save room.
We found the holiday inn express at swansea west m4 jct43 to be very comfortable , clean , the staff very courteous and the location ideal for our "tour round " holiday .
Its very clean, comfortable, convienient and just the right amount of friendliness without intrusion. Good value for money too.
The airflow in the rooms was poor they desperately need air conditioning. There was a fan in the room but this was inadequate. We were out most of the time so it was bearable but the poor airflow did lead to discomfort and a lack of sleep.
I needed a hotel located on the m4 - Pembroke route for two short nights with all basic room facilities, wi-fi in the room and 24 hour access. This hotel met all requirements 100%. The room was well equiped, the wi-fi worked (extra charge) and the hotel has easy access from the main road.
Lack of clear markings for the exit from the hotel car park. I arrived late at night in the rain and the dark and left early morning in the rain and the dark so took several attempts to find the exit.
Very good accommodation, very friendly staff
No air-condition in rooms, noise from lorries
Lovely clean room with a good bathroom. Next to a Harvester Pub, so you can have a great meat there too, Budget hotel, but still had a choice of pillows (firm or soft)
The double bed is just too small.
It was very friendly, clean and happy hotel.. On arriving th room was ready for us and we were able to book in early which was nice. Staff member very helpful..
On arriving the room was very cold and seemed to take ages to warm up but im always cold. The location was a bit out of the way for us but the harvester more than made up for that. Breakfast was basic but hot and welcome in the morning as im hungry first thing. Over all avery pleasant stay
Staff and surroundings were perfect so friendly and helpful
Breakfast - egg was runny, beans over seasoned and no bacon, the continental side was very nice though.
